Bush to use World Market Center Space for Consumer Electronics Show

Las Vegas – Bush Industries, longtime exhibitor at the annual Consumer Electronics Show here, will open its permanent World Market Center showroom during the next week’s CES show.

The ready-to-assemble furniture maker will use its WMC showroom, space A-610, in lieu of leasing temporary space at the Las Vegas Convention Center, which houses most CES Exhibits.

Jim Schmidt II, vice president of marketing and merchandising, said the WMC showroom will allow Bush to display a wider array of merchandise than it could show in a temporary booth.

“One of the major benefits for Bush having a showroom in the World Market Center is the ability to connect with the many compatible trade shows that are held here (in Las Vegas), in addition to the two furniture markets,” Schmidt said.

CES will take place Jan. 8-11, and the Las Vegas furniture market is scheduled form Jan. 29 – Feb 2.

During CES, Schmidt said the Bush showroom will feature RTA furniture for home theater, TV’s and Video gaming, including several SKU’s that will be shown for the first time.

We can show buyers a more complete selection in our comfortable, permanent showroom, instead of a limited trade show booth,” he said.

The showroom will be open at 8.a.m. each day of CES, and Bush will provide limousine transportation for furniture buyers on the second and third days of the show, Jan 9 and 10.

On Jan 9 and 10, the showroom also is offering buyers a gourmet brunch by the Wolfgang Puck Group from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

Buyers wishing to schedule limousine pickup should call Trisha Shetland at (800) 727-BUSH (2874).
